I like to say I lived in the city but grew up in the country. My passion for writing includes short stories, newspaper columns, the ‘Patrons Pick Restaurant Guide for Toronto’ for ten years and many family business articles including the book ‘The House That Jam Built’ about the E.D. Smith company. My love of languages and literature makes writing a real joy and in writing my first novel ‘!Unsaid’, I have found the format that is the most challenging and most rewarding. As well as telling stories to entertain, I hope to pose ethical, everyday dilemmas and explore how we navigate through them. I have lived in Collingwood since 2004. Tennis, bridge, family, volunteering and of course writing take up all my time so there is never a dull moment.
